Known as 'Jack' at home this chestnut stallion is by Runaway(TB) out of Clover Lace(ID). This attractive, athletic stallion was the first horse bred at the Curragh Stud. His boldness and scope took him to International Grand Prix in Showjumping. Now retired to stud, he often passes on his Agile and Friendly traits to his offspring.

Star (Curragh King x Celestial (TBxID) is as talented as her sire, but clever where he is bold. She is the mare who does it all, having competed successfully in Eventing and bred a gorgeous colt. Her habit of jumping between fields when bored does sometimes frustrate the grooms at Curragh.

Kes (Curragh King x Free Spirit (IDxSF)) was a very successful eventer until injury ended her career. Now she is retired at Curragh as a broodmare. Thankfully her obedient nature keeps her out of trouble, (unlike her sister), and her excellent temperament and talent is now being passed on to a new generation of Curragh horses.

Ozzie has recently been approved as Curragh's second registered stallion. He is by Sea King, (see below), out of Curragh Star. He possesses speed in addition to his dam's intelligence and agility. A real performance stallion for the future.

Missy is CS Kestrel's first foal by the Anglo Arab stallion, Poet's Pride. She is also Curragh's first grey! Only just backed, this young mare is growing up to be very fast, as well as bold and intelligent. She may make an excellent eventer in the future.

'Pollo is an impressive colt by the Hanoverian showjumping stallion Konigswinter out of CS Kestrel. It is hoped that he will develop his talent for escaping out of stables into a successful showjumping career.
